The Department of Psychiatry at Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ is hiring board eligible/certified psychiatrists for outpatient, inpatient, consultation/liaison and child/adolescent programs. Cooper University Health Care offers inpatient and outpatient care, crisis evaluation, and agency consultation across ages and populations along with addiction medicine services. Our team is comprised of board certified psychiatrists, psychiatry residents, advanced practice nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, and social workers.
Psychiatrists are engaged in the tripartite academic, scientific and clinical missions. They work with trainees in a variety of disciplines while acting as rotation supervisors or lecturers. Interdepartmental collaboration is an essential function of the department, demonstrated through joint research projects and appointments, quality improvement initiatives, and integrated treatment for complex medical and psychiatric conditions.
