The Dana- Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) is offering a fulltime opportunity for a child and adolescent psychiatrist interested in psycho-oncology across the lifespan. The physician will join a robust multidisciplinary Psychosocial Oncology team to provide psychiatric assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and younger adults at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Working in collaboration with our specialized service of psychologists and clinical social workers, the psychiatrist will provide outpatient evaluations and longitudinal treatment of younger adults in the adult clinics, and children and adolescents in the pediatric clinics at the DFCI. Teaching responsibilities include working with medical students, psychiatry residents/fellows, and post-doctoral psychology and post-masters social work fellows, with academic and research opportunities in a growing Department of Adult and Pediatric Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care. The successful candidate will be board certified in general psychiatry and have board eligibility or certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. This position will include appointments at DFCI, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital, and Harvard Medical School.
