Fairview Health Services seeks applicants to work full-time as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Fairview’s Adolescent Dual Diagnosis Outpatient Program in Elk River, Minnesota with occasional shifts at three other Fairview locations in Chisago City, Crystal and Maplewood, Minnesota. In a collaborative and interdisciplinary practice model, the psychiatrist works with a team of program staff, teaching staff, chemical dependency counselors, psychotherapists, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and will be actively involved in all patient care including intakes, follow-ups, medication management, and conducting family conferences.
Requirements: First professional degree in medicine, graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Psychiatry residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training program, board certified (or eligible) in Psychiatry with at least 3 years experience practicing as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Applicant must also be licensed or have ability to obtain Minnesota physician licensure. Fairview Health Services is affiliated with the University of Minnesota, and is an active partner in the University's research, teaching, and service missions and as such, teaching and/or research experience preferred.
