The University of Colorado School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Director of its Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Director of Service for the Pediatric Mental Health Institute at the Children’s Hospital Colorado. This exciting position is located on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Colorado, a progressive state within the Rocky Mountain West. The Anschutz Medical Campus is home to the University of Colorado Hospital, Children's Hospital Colorado, and a new Veterans Affairs Hospital, making it one of the largest and most comprehensive biomedical research and clinical care centers in the western United States. The School's total annual clinical and research revenue exceeds $1.2 billion per year.
This is the right opportunity for a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with the vision to lead more than 120 paid faculty and refine existing and build new clinical programs including, but not limited to, mental health integration across an extensive pediatric primary care network, accelerate effective telepsychiatry programming, build world-class hospital and ambulatory care services, promote a robust research enterprise, and support the Division's highly competitive child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship and psychology internship and post-doctoral training programs. A commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive culture is required. In addition to an endowed chair, the position will be accompanied by a competitive recruitment and relocation package.
