Dayton Children’s Hospital, in Dayton, Ohio, is recruiting for a full time or part time Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our expanding Center for Pediatric Mental Health Resources. The successful candidate must be an MD or DO, have completed a child/adolescent psychiatry fellowship, be Board certified/eligible and obtain an unrestricted medical license in Ohio. This position is employed by the Dayton Children’s Specialty Physicians and includes a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. This position consists of providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management in our Day Treatment Program (Partial Hospitalization Program) and providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management in DCH’s ambulatory psychiatric clinic. Both the Day Treatment Program and Ambulatory Clinic are located in the same building. The successful candidate will join a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of 10 psychiatrists, 12 psychologists, 3 nurses, 1 social worker and 3 office staff in a positive and supportive work environment. The opportunity to supervise and teach pediatric and psychiatry residents exists through the hospital’s affiliation with Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Research opportunities are available but not required. Our Center for Pediatric Mental Health Resources provides excellent leadership and mentoring of new faculty. Along with support from senior leadership, there is a strong collaboration with other members of the mental health team and with pediatric subspecialists.
