This is a Mental Health Evidence Based Psychotherapy(EBP) Social Work Program Coordinator in the Mental Health Service Line. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating EBP efforts and other services offered in Mental Health at all three sites Amarillo, Lubbock, and Clovis. Our Mental Health Clinics are customer-service oriented, meeting a variety of emotional, psychological, behavioral, interpersonal, and social needs of patients. Essential Program Management Responsibilities: Program management responsibilities include the development of short- and long-range goals and plans, development and implementation of policies and procedure to ensure attainment, and management of administrative and programmatic resources and outcomes monitoring using data-driven quality assurance processes. Independent judgement is exercised in making decisions affecting staff and other resources. Will be tasked with monitoring, evaluating, and formulating innovative solutions on excelling in SAIL measures, the completion of MH Treatment Plans in all appropriate cases, and providing high quality patient care. Incumbent will participate in meetings related to SAIL and EBPs at the service level, facility level, and for the VISN as appropriate. Will be responsible for disseminating information on EBP training opportunities, and will track participation in EBP trainings amongst employees in the mental health clinics. Clinical Responsibilities: Performs initial biopsychosocial assessments as well as yearly biopsychosocial updates including all required clinical reminders, suicide risk assessments, advanced directives, safety plans, and treatment plans as required per policy. Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions including individual therapy, marital/family therapy, group therapy, and substance abuse treatment. Will champion EBPs and EBP template usage by mentoring other mental health clinic employees, and leading by example. Will assist with clinical consultation responsibilities with Vet Center staff. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Compressed work schedule available. Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
