Nationwide Children’s Hospital is recruiting an accomplished Board certified Sleep Medicine physician to serve in a clinical leadership role to contribute clinically and programmatically in developing, growing and managing the Pediatric Sleep Disorder Center. With committed resources by senior leadership, the Medical Director, Sleep Medicine is a critical leadership role to support the immediate growth for the Pediatric Sleep Disorder Center while also leading the group in research and career development. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical leader passionate about leading program growth and development to join one of the largest and most comprehensive, nationally recognized children’s hospital passionate about shaping a new era of pediatric care.
The sleep clinic sees roughly 1,200 outpatient visits annually and has a 7-bed AASM accredited sleep center, which completes roughly 2,200 polysomnographic studies annually. The director will also be responsible for training sleep medicine fellows in collaboration with Sleep Medicine at OSUCOM.

Nationwide Children’s multidisciplinary sleep group includes 5 pediatric pulmonologists, 1 pediatric psychiatrist, 1 pediatric psychologist and 1 pediatric neurologist, all boarded in Sleep Medicine. The sleep center supports a dedicated sleep outpatient clinic, inpatient consult service and sleep laboratory and includes a high performing multidisciplinary team and nationally and internationally renowned programs.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished clinician or clinical scientist, Board certified in Sleep Medicine, and accomplished in supporting clinical, research and academic activities.
