To facilitate and coordinate the behavioral health care of patients (adolescent, adult & geriatric) infected with HIV. Works to assist patients and their families to adjust to personal and environmental difficulties which predispose illness or interfere with medical care. Provides mental health assessment and treatment under direction of the program psychiatrist and in collaboration with the medical supervisor in keeping with defined treatment goals.
