The Social Worker practices in the inpatient surgery unit. The GS-9 entry level Social Worker has less than one year of post-MSW experience and is not yet licensed or certified at the independent practice level. The Social Worker must be working toward completion of prerequisites for licensure or certification. The Social Worker provides services on an inpatient basis. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
