The Associate Director is responsible for aligning assigned provider(s) with LifeStance Health???s mission, vision and values, ensuring a culture that delivers compassion, builds relationships and celebrates difference. The Associate Clinical Director is responsible for the provision of onsite support for all clinician types as well as the oversight and maintenance of clinical policies, procedures and protocols to ensure clinical integrity.
Responsible for onsite consultation and support regarding clinical issues and concerns for all clinician types and escalate to Regional Medical and Clinical Directors, as appropriate
Collaborate continuously with Regional Clinical Director, Operations Director/Manager and Regional Medical Director to develop plans for improvement
Capacity reporting: In collaboration with operations, monitor clinician schedules and clinical availability across assigned site(s)
Assess and project staffing needs and report to leadership
Identify site level trends and create clinician-focused strategic solutions to improve behavioral health service delivery
Triage all patient emergencies
Liaison between clinicians and operations facilitating inter-departmental communication and problem solving regarding front desk functions and provision of support for front office staff daily
Conduct frequent check-ins and stay interviews with psychotherapy clinicians at assigned site(s)
Lead weekly meeting to offer culture building with informal case consultation & rollout of new initiatives/guidelines/P&Ps, etc.
Provide assigned site(s) with focused, constructive consultation based on objective information and observation. Accurately assess and evaluate the service and care provided. Identify opportunities for improvement and make sound recommendations based on state regulations, quality metrics and company policies and procedures.
Chart auditing, coaching and education to ensure quality assurance
Support clinician recruiting, interviewing and onboarding, as assigned by Regional Clinical Directors
Responsible for personnel actions for psychotherapy clinicians **Note: Any personnel issues for psychiatric clinicians should be handled by Regional Medical Director/Regional APRN Director where applicable
Work with Regional Medical and Clinical Directors to assist with the maintenance and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance in designated site(s)
Monitor mandatory training for clinical staff
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master???s level degree or higher (LCPC, LCSW-C, LCMFT, PsyD, PhD)
6+ years of experience in clinical setting
Notable client service, communication and relationship building skills required
Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment required
Supervisory or lead experience over multiple locations required
Medical software and medical practice scheduling experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and general office equipment (i.e., printers, copy machine, scanners, electronic signature pads, multi-line phone, FAX machine, etc.) required
Experience using clinical computer systems required. Must be detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem-solving ability
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor required
Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture
