In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.
Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator who is proficient in Haitian Creole to work in the Genomics, Risk, and Health Decision-Making Laboratory in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. You will work with Dr. Jada Hamilton on studies that include novel approaches for delivering clinical genetics cancer care. Coordinator will also assist on a new study aimed at developing and evaluating educational materials about genetic testing for cancer patients who speak different languages and have diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. This full-time position is currently funded for three years. This position requires proficiency in Haitian Creole.

You Are:

- Able to travel regularly to local research sites including Queens Cancer Center and Kings County Hospital Center;
- Fluent in Haitian Creole, verbal and written.
You Will:
- Coordinate and carry out patient recruitment;
- Acquire informed consent and coordinate assessment batteries;
- Screen patient records and databases to determine patient eligibility for studies;
- Maintain study database, codebook, and procedures for data entry and monitoring;
- Support the PI and the team as needed for data analysis and relevant project duties;
- Conduct regular audits of the data to ensure data accuracy and integrity;
- Ensure that patient registration, informed consent procedures, and handling of data meet all institutional and governmental requirements;
- Provide regular reports to the PI regarding study progress and challenges and work with the PI to address any problems that arise;
- Assist the Principal Investigator and study team with regulatory and administrative submissions both at MSK and with study funding agencies;
- Participate in weekly study meetings;
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and manuscripts;
- Perform literature searches and other tasks as needed.
You Have:
- High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office; REDCap and SPSS advantageous;
