Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group has an opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible adult or general Psychiatry physician to join an expanding behavioral health team at Mount Sinai, Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Centers inpatient facility in Hartford, Connecticut.

The selected candidate will join a collaborative inpatient psychiatry group providing general psychiatric services for their inpatient unit and consultations for patients admitted to the ED or medical/surgical unitsaverage volume of consultation cases is low. This care unit is fully staffed with an occupational and group therapist, social work support for individual therapy and case management, and a dedicated insurance utilization review team.

The Psychiatrist will be part of a dynamic team with credentialing at both Mount Sinai and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. There is an affiliation with the Quinnipiac University Frank H. Netter School of Medicine which will offer the candidate a faculty appointment and opportunities to supervise and teach medical students rotating through the unit during their internships.  

The successful candidate should be an experienced board-certified or board-eligible adult or general psychiatrist. The scheduled for this opportunity is Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a telephone call rotation.
