The Sheridan VA Medical Center is recruiting for two Peer Support Staff in the Psychological and Recovery Rehab Service. In accordance with The VA Mission Act of 2018, Section 506, in meeting the needs of Veterans this position will be filled by a Veteran who will provide peer support to Veterans. This Peer Specialist position may only be filled with a Veteran that meets statutory requirements that are detailed in the qualifications section. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 12/15/2022. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-06 position
