Overview

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with pediatric experience to join our highly collegial and patient focused Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics team in Meridian, Idaho. The selected individual will be managing their own patient panel and providing follow up care with the support of our developmental behavioral pediatrician.

The developmental pediatric specialists at St. Luke's Children's support the child's behavioral and developmental health with compassion, sensitivity, and skill. Our expertise covers a wide range of conditions including the evaluation and care of children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, intellectual disability, speech and language disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, and behavioral concerns. We practice in a multidisciplinary setting where providers, nurses, and therapists work together as a team to optimize care and help children with special health care needs thrive. The clinic includes a mental health therapist and child and adolescent psychiatrist along with the other members of the developmental pediatrics team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master's Degree and certification, as required by the specialty, as well as eligibility to obtain licensure from Idaho to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
• Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
• Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension/expression.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, busy clinical environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes.
• Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect).
