Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist. This position will be split with either Consult Liaison, Emergency Psychiatry, or an Adult Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic.

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Rush University Medical Center is recruiting a full-time academic clinical faculty member for a position in our Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic embedded in the US News and World Report's 14th ranked Department of Geriatric Medicine. This position offers academic rank and salary commensurate with experience. Eligible candidates should be American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology board certified or eligible and possess a strong clinical background with a broad range of behavioral health disorders impacting the geriatric patient population. Candidates with fellowship training in Geriatric Psychiatry are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a passion for academic medicine and education. The candidate will supervise and teach residents, medical students and other trainees affiliated with Rush University.
