Transplant Psychiatrist Academic Position - Westchester Medical Center

Summary:

The Transplant Center at New York Medical College-Westchester Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing multi-organ program. Working collaboratively with the Heart, Kidney, and Liver Transplant teams, the incumbent will evaluate patients undergoing workup for transplantation as well as follow post-transplant patients in need of psychiatric management. The incumbent will see patients in both the outpatient and inpatient settings and will participate in patient selection conferences, performance improvement meetings, and other administrative meetings as needed.

Experience:

The successful candidate will be board certified/eligible in CL or Addiction Psychiatry and must enjoy teaching house staff. Participation and productivity in research are expected.
