University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Behavioral Health outpatient adult practice in Minneapolis, MN.

The Psychiatry Clinic with University of Minnesota Health is composed of world-renowned experts skilled at managing and treating individuals with mental health needs. We offer a wide range of new treatment options for patients with anxiety, depression, and chemical dependency among other mental health conditions.

We also offer Integrative Wellness Services to help patients cultivate mental health and emotional well-being. Our approach blends conventional psychiatry and behavioral health with the best evidence-informed strategies from integrative and functional medicine.

Practice Details:

• Location of practice: University of Minnesota Medical Center Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic in Minneapolis, MN.
• Our team of providers includes: 6 NP's, 4 of them serve the adult population and 2 serve the child population.
• This position includes working with adults.
• RN Care Coordinator partner and access to Pharm D, Social Work support and rooming staff support.
• We offer our NP's a weekly case consultation team meetings with the Medical Director.
• 20-50% in person care and the rest remote.
• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
• Openings: 1.0 FTE (Full Time)

We're Looking For a PA or NP Who Is:

• A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Psychiatry Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training program.
• Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.
• Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP's).
• Able to meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
