NYC Health + Hospitals Harlem is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join its dedicated behavioral health team serving Harlem. This position will provide direct psychiatric evaluations, assessments and treatments to adult patients admitted to inpatient care. The Psychiatrist will also be teaching and supervising trainees. This position also has the opportunity to grow into Unit Chief, Medical Director, and/or senior leadership positions of interest. • Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem is the largest hospital in Central Harlem and the only Safety Net Hospital in Northern Manhattan. This 282-bed hospital is a designated Level 2 Trauma Center and provides a wide range of services including Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Bariatric Services, and many other specialty services. Harlem was also the first hospital in New York City to receive the coveted Baby Friendly certification granted by Baby Friendly USA.
