Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Hospital Based Psychiatrist for a Great Opportunity at Morristown Medical Center
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our team at Morristown Medical Center. The candidate will be an essential part of a dynamic department, ensuring comprehensive support. As a Hospital Based Psychiatrist, you will provide clinical support for the various Hospital Based Services.
This Full-Time position offers great work/life balance with a flexible 9am - 5pm schedule.
As a hospital-based Psychiatrist, the candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, Consultation Liaison Service, and Crisis Intervention Service, providing crucial Psychiatric services across the hospital. The candidate will also serve as a role model for clinical excellence throughout the Hospital. Additionally, the candidate will provide clinical mentorship to staff physicians and Advanced Practice Nurses across the Hospital based services and collaborate with key quality and safety leaders to ensure high-quality psychiatric care. Finally, the candidate will assume all responsibilities as a member of the Department of Psychiatry, including cross-coverage at the main campus as needed and participation in on-call and per-diem coverage, as assigned by the Department Chair.

Qualifications
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with developments in the field of psychiatry
- Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor trainees (e.g., Advanced Practice Providers, residents, and medical students)
- Familiarity with federal and state standards for psychiatric care
- Demonstrated success working individually and as part of a team
