The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida (UF) College of Medicine is one of the largest multifaceted programs, centered within a major academic health center. Faculty in the Department of Psychiatry are engaged in groundbreaking projects covering a variety of interests through our centers, labs, and collaborations with other departments. The Department of Psychiatry spans services across adult, addiction, and child/adolescent specializations, including a freestanding psychiatric hospital, a large consult liaison service at the main UF Shands Hospital, the Florida Recovery Center operated by our Addiction Division, and multiple research centers including the Center for Addiction Research & Education, the Center for OCD and Related Disorders (COARD), and the Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment (CAN). Applicants must have a M.D. or D.O. degree, be licensed in or eligible for medical licensure in the State of Florida, have completed residency in psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, and be board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry. Experience in working with student learners and residents is required.

Possess prior clinical experience in a teaching institution or service
Demonstration of strong academic accomplishments and trajectory which may include innovative educational program development, excellence in teaching, clinical leadership, or research
Strong character, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
