Northeast Florida’s leader in comprehensive behavioral healthcare seeks a Bariatric Clinical Health Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary bariatrics care team.

Your Day to Day:
Provide individual therapy directly to bariatric patients.
Be an integral member of an interdisciplinary bariatrics care team.
Manage complex behavioral needs for patients with chronic medical conditions.
Have a direct impact on patient care as patients work towards improved health.
Provide psychological assessment, testing and therapy for adult patients both pre- and post-surgery.
Assess patient readiness and appropriateness for surgery, and complete reports as required.
Psychological assessment and individual therapy for adolescents with anorexia or bulimia.
Document patient encounters.
What You Bring:
Experience assessing and treating adults with obesity and the emotional, behavioral and psychological variables associated with bariatric surgery.
Experience assessing and treating adolescents with anorexia, bulimia, and co-morbid psychological disorders.
Bariatric and Weight Management specialization.
Licensed clinical psychologist.
Ability to obtain an active unrestricted Florida license.
Eligible for major insurance panel credentials.
Doctorate - PhD or PsyD.
