Essential Functions: Psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, care & treatment of voluntary & involuntary adult patients as member of treatment team on 16-bed unit. May involved supervision/oversight of affiliated medical staff (psychiatric APRNs). Participation in on-call coverage rotation. Collaborates in quality improvement, service development & utilization management activities. Communication with involved healthcare providers & payers. Participation in staff, team & committee meetings related to role & areas of responsibility. Education: M.D. or D.O. with completed residency.
