The WG Bill Hefner Salisbury VA Medical Center is seeking a well-qualified Psychiatrist in the Mental Health Service Line. The Mental Health Service Line provides care in several psychiatric settings: inpatient units, ambulatory programs, residential program for substance abuse, residential program for PTSD, emergency department, medical-surgical ward, psychiatric consultation, and geriatrics with extended programs. To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending the completion of training or license requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
