We are also involved in the education of medical students and residents as well as research and other scholarly activities. As an academic medical center associated with CWRU School of Medicine, MetroHealth also boasts an active psychiatry and psychology residency programs and a neurodevelopmental psychology fellowship program. Participation in clinical supervision and didactic presentations are expected. Thus, candidates with interest and experience in training are highly valued. While ASD diagnostic services will be a primary focus of this position, additional provision of bilingual behavioral intervention services (e.g., cognitive behavioral interventions, group social skills training, parent-child interaction treatments) neuropsychological evaluations for Spanish speaking individuals aged 3 to 18 years, and research can be incorporated into the clinician’s schedule as appropriate.
Qualifications include the following: fluent Spanish and English verbal communication skills, a Ph.D./Psy.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology graduate program with primary interest and background in pediatric/child clinical psychology, child/pediatric internship in an APA accredited program, completion of a neuropsychological or child clinical post-doctoral fellowship, license eligibility in Ohio by start date. We can provide additional training and supervision for candidates to achieve reliability on ADOS Modules. Written Spanish proficiency is not required. This full-time faculty position will have a competitive salary for academic rank.
