The Department of Psychiatry at UMass Memorial Health (UMMH) is seeking a part-time, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our outpatient services: MA Child Psychiatry Access Program (MCPAP) and the Center of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CANDO). About our Department: The Department of Psychiatry is a national leader in public sector psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, neurodevelopmental disorders, biological psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, forensic psychiatry, psychosocial rehabilitation, women’s mental health, and addiction psychiatry. We integrate our clinical, research, teaching and community partnership activities to help individuals and families transform their lives through recovery from mental illness and addiction. We are the largest provider of psychiatric services in central Massachusetts with over 350 faculty and 10 hospitals and community mental health centers.
Our residency program trains 7 residents per year including general psychiatry and specialty tracks for combined adult and child psychiatry and combined neurology and psychiatry. We offer fellowships in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, and Adult Developmental Disabilities

The primary duties for the Psychiatrist will be outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric consultation, evaluation, and ongoing psychiatric management for the Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CANDO) and Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Program (MCPAP).
This position provides the opportunity for involvement in a full range of clinical and academic pursuits, including serving as a member of our core attending faculty for our child psychiatry fellows, residents and medical students. A faculty appointment, commensurate with experience, is available. Candidates are expected to be Board eligible/Board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Must hold a MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license
