About the Psychiatrist position This position will contribute to the Acute Psychiatric Unit, Outpatient as well as the Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program.   The Acute Inpatient Mental Health Psychiatrist provides comprehensive mental health services for a diverse population needing psychiatric stabilization throughout the course of admission. This includes history and physical examinations, mental status examinations, intake assessments, medication management, suicide risk evaluations This staff psychiatrist will work on a multidisciplinary mental health team treating Veterans with a full range of diagnosis, including mood disorders, PTSD, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders and neurocognitive disorders. Board certific
