Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday (Typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; flexible start and end times available)
Position Overview:
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Mental Health Clinic in an outpatient setting. This is an exciting opportunity to provide psychiatric care in a collaborative and supportive environment. As part of our team, you?ll have the chance to work with a group that values growth, teamwork, and continuous learning. You will manage an average of 10 patients per day, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients while working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for patients in an outpatient setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions as appropriate.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
