Under the administrative direction of the Chief Executive Officer, and the clinical direction of the Headquarters Chief Psychiatrist and Regional Mental Health Director, the Chief Psychiatrist will supervise employees in the classification of Staff Psychiatrist. The Chief Psychiatrist will oversee psychiatric care in the institution, which includes developing and implementing psychiatric program services, recruiting and training psychiatric staff, providing psychiatric intervention, maintaining a qualify management program for psychiatry, and consulting as part of the interdisciplinary treatment teams.
