University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking experienced psychiatrists interested in casual shifts on our EmPath (Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment, and Healing) practice at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN and Emergency Consult Team at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis.In This Role, You Will:Join a team of multidisciplinary mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, licensed therapists, and psychiatric nurses in caring for acute mental health issues that come to the EmPath unit or Emergency Department.Determine the best level of care for patients, provide acute treatment for occurring crisis and assist with discharge planning
