OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality care psychiatry care within WakeMed’s Acute Care Hospitals and EDs.  The incumbent will provide psychiatric diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric symptoms in medically complex patients across the hospital's general medical and surgical units as well as rapid psychiatric evaluations, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and stabilization for patients presenting to the emergency department.   The ideal candidate will be committed to our mission of transforming mental health care delivery—placing patient autonomy, dignity, and holistic healing at the center of everything we do.
