The Associate Department Chief for Academic Development (ADCAD) provides strategic leadership for faculty growth and academic advancement while maintaining an active clinical and research presence. The role includes approximately 40% administrative leadership, a minimum of 15% clinical service and up to 45% research effort. This position reports to David Axelson, MD, medical director, psychiatry, and Chief of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, with administrative support from Josh Ebling.
