Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health is seeking a full-time psychologist to join the dynamic Pediatric Cardiology practice in Indianapolis, IN. The Riley Children's Health pediatric cardiology and heart surgery program is ranked in the top 25 nationally for children's heart care by U.S. News & World Report.
Position Highlights
The Division is a balanced mixture of all academic levels and years of experience; supportive team invested in delivering the best care in a collegial manner.
Key responsibilities include providing behavioral health consultations and targeted intervention for diverse and varied pediatric cardiovascular conditions, with emphasis on families receiving a fetal cardiac diagnosis and on children 0-3 years of age; and clinical and educational program development
Standard schedule 8-5 Monday-Friday, primarily outpatient with approximately 20-40% inpatient” as this position will be responsible for seeing 0-3 y/o’s in the CVICU and stepdown unit
Career development is a primary goal of annual review and academic planning
Strong work/life balance supported by a standard schedule & no call
Faculty appointment with the IU School of Medicine, teaching and some scholarly work
Qualifications:
Post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology, PhD or PsyD
HSPP and Indiana licensure
