Psychiatrist Opportunity in Houston, TX
Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team in Houston, TX. The Psychiatrist will perform psychiatric evaluations, treat patients with problems of personality, emotional adjustment, or mental illness. The psychiatrist will prescribe medications as deemed necessary for the treatment of mental illnesses and recommend appropriate therapy based on precedent and standards of the profession. Psychiatrist will also oversee the treatment performed by medical students and psychiatry residents; and instruct them in the typical patterns of progression of mental illnesses during treatment. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm We offer: $240,000-$280,
