Senior Social Worker (Consult & Liaison Psychiatric Clinician)
The Senior Social Worker is part of an interdisciplinary treatment team in Acute Mental Health serving in the Consultation & Liaison Department, Acute Psychiatric Unit, Emergency Department and ACCESS Clinic areas. Services include crisis intervention, biopsychosocial assessment, treatment planning, individual, group and family therapy, case management, advocacy, discharge planning, and coordination of linkages to other VA or community service providers and agencies as needed by the Veteran. Basic Requirements Citizenship: Citizen of the United States. Licensure: Candidate must be licensed or certified by a state at the advanced practice level which included an advanced generalist or clinical examination, unless they are grandfathered by the state in which they are licensed to practice
