The incumbent functions as a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (Care Coordinator/Manager) and work is done in the context of an interdisciplinary treatment team, and extensive liaison activities with other programs that provide continuity of care services at the necessary level of support. The position requires extensive work with veterans diagnosed with mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The incumbent provides these services at an independent practice level.
