The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist with exceptional leadership and clinical skills to serve as Medical Director of the Emergency Psychiatry Service. This is a full-time position for individuals interested in providing consultation, assessment and management of children and adolescents in acute psychiatric crisis. The incumbent will be charged with overseeing a large multidisciplinary team of psychiatric social workers, nurse practitioners, psychiatry and psychology staff and trainees providing crisis care and evaluations in the emergency setting.
