Northeast Florida’s leader in comprehensive behavioral healthcare is seeking a Clinical Health Psychologist with specialization in Bariatric Psychology and Weight Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct clinical services to bariatric patients including psychological testing and individual case consultation. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team at the Baptist Center for Bariatrics, you will manage the complex behavioral needs of patients with chronic medical conditions and have a direct impact on patient care as they work towards improved health.

Your Day to Day:
Function as an integral member of the bariatrics care team
Psychological assessment, testing and therapy for adult patients both pre- and post-surgery.
Assess the patient's readiness and appropriateness for surgery and complete reports as required.
Psychological assessment and individual therapy for adolescents with anorexia or bulimia.
Maintain timely documentation of patient encounters.
What You Bring:
Experience with assessment and treatment of adults with obesity and the emotional, behavioral and psychological variables associated with bariatric surgery.
Experience with assessment and treatment of adolescents with anorexia and bulimia and co-morbid psychological disorders.
Licensed clinical psychologist
In possession of or ability to obtain an active unrestricted Florida license
Eligible to be credentialed with major insurance panels
