Memorial Healthcare System, located in South Florida, is seeking a neurology residency program director responsible for the administrative and clinical oversight of its neurology GME program. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated leader to be involved in a fully supported program in a large and recognized dynamic healthcare system. All candidates must have current board certification in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and 3+ years of post-residency experience in an accredited neurology GME program, with leadership experience preferred. The successful candidate will also have clinical responsibilities in an outpatient clinical practice with an established and highly reputed neuroscience group.
Memorial Healthcare System received institutional accreditation from the ACGME in 2017 for the Neurology Residency Program for a total of 16 slots (4 per year x 4 years). The program is one of 15 accredited ACGME and CPME training programs at MHS. Future growth of the program and fellowships are a possibility. MHS is affiliated with several local medical schools including the University of Miami, Florida International University, Florida Atlantic University, and Nova Southeastern University.
