The Academic Practice of Penn State Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time, clinically licensed behavioral health therapist for their outpatient psychiatry and behavioral health site located in Hershey, PA. The candidate should have specialized therapeutic skills and experienced clinical judgment while providing psychotherapy to patients. Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations, utilizing evidence-based therapies, and developing treatment plans and appropriate discharge plans is also a responsibility of the role. The position will include individual and group therapy with the adult population. Some individual therapy focuses include mood disorders, anxiety disorders and marital conflicts.Â
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for providing psychotherapy to patients, screening admission referrals, and providing ongoing treatment planning.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required.
One (1) year of experience in the treatment of Psychiatric patients required.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) required.
