Sanford Health in Fargo, N.D., is seeking a BC/BE Child Psychiatrist to join the region’s leading team of Child Behavioral Health specialists.
• Experienced team is comprised of 2 child Psychiatrists, 7 child Psychologists, 1 psychiatric nurse practitioner, RN support and a designated social worker • Department offers a full spectrum of office based specialists providing PCIT, TF-CBT, testing, and short and long term therapy services • Sanford Health has a nationally recognized eating disorder program that includes clinic based services, a partial hospital and inpatient levels of care across all ages • Partial Hospital Program for patients who are 12 to 17 years old and their families offering intensive DBT based treatment • Work closely with the Traumatic Stress Treatment Center offering therapy for children who have experienced psychological trauma • Sanford Health is a large rural health care system with a designated Children’s Hospital and a large network of outpatient pediatricians and family practice providers. Psychiatry offers consultation to the inpatient pediatric unit as well as to primary care providers both directly and with the support of integrated health therapists located within the outpatient clinics. • Affiliated with the University of North Dakota’s General Psychiatry Residency Program, with 6 residents per year rotating through our child psychiatry department. Teaching opportunities available with a clinical faculty appointed to UND School of Medicine.
