The Child and Adolescent psychiatrist will provide patient care for clients in a residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient program. This is a private company that treats adolescents ages 12-17 who have mental health and substance use diagnoses in both PHP and residential settings. The psychiatrist works collaboratively with the clinical team to provide patient assessment and diagnosis, formulate treatment plans, attend treatment team meetings, prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, interpret test results, provide patient education, and prepare medical records in accordance with statutes, regulations, and protocols regulating the profession.
