We are seeking Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists to join our growing USNWR nationally ranked team in Wilmington, DE.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, psychiatric nurses, social work and a robust clinical support team, among others, to deliver top-quality care in a busy ambulatory and/or hospital-based setting within one of the most desirable communities along the northeast corridor. No in-house call required, and if interested, a suitable candidate may also receive additional protected time for education, with a primary focus on the Psychiatry rotation for General Pediatric Residents.
Choose the ideal opportunity from a variety of settings and programs, including:
Mood and Anxiety Program: Lead physician in the development of a Mood and Anxiety Program in collaboration with our psychology team. This position will also work with the provider group to support ambulatory services for youth from our care network. Protected time distribution for development and clinical focus in the Mood and Anxiety Program will be commensurate and adaptable to service growth. Opportunities for CL service coverage can also be afforded.
Consult Liaison Service: Focus on growth of our consultation service both in the inpatient setting as well as the Emergency Room. This position will develop proactive consultation models with various pediatric and surgery specialties.
Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic: Focus on growth of current outpatient psychiatry clinic which currently supports a variety of patient populations including pediatric specialties, primary care networks, developmental medicine, and the Swank Autism Center. Opportunities for the development of future pediatric psychiatry subspecialty tracks/clinics that further support our strategic goals, can be made available to interested candidates. Opportunities for CL service coverage can also be afforded.

Partner closely with the divisions of Psychology, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and the Swank Autism Center as we jointly ensure exemplary behavioral health care for all children and youth in our region and beyond.

Teaching and Mentorship Opportunities: Actively participate in the education and training of Psychiatry Residents and medical students from Thomas Jefferson University. Academic appointment at Thomas Jefferson University Sidney Kimmel Medical College will be proposed commensurate with experience and performance.
Flexibility: Distribution of inpatient and outpatient time is negotiable. We remain open to adapt to desirable candidates’ other specific interests. No in-house call.
Team Collaboration: Be a part of the state-of-the-art dedicated Behavioral Health and Development building that houses Psychiatry, Psychology, Neuropsychology, Developmental Medicine, The Swank Autism Center, and several multidisciplinary clinics.

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
