The Addiction Therapist serves as an expert in addiction services for a multidisciplinary Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP) team. As a treatment team member the incumbent shares a number of the general goals of the RRTP, including assisting the Veteran in establishing the most therapeutic course of treatment in attempts to overcome problems related to chemical dependency. Duties include, but are not limited to: Communication and interpersonal relations, including the ability to appropriately and courteously relate to intern al and external customers. Maintenance of confidentiality of patient/employee information, both electronic and print. Have working knowledge of the medical center performance improvement plan. Knowledge of how to work and function in a medical center
