Position Overview:
We are seeking a psychologist with a genuine passion for Veteran care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a range of psychotherapeutic interventions and psychological assessment services.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individual, group, and family therapy, along with psychoeducational classes.
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
- Participating in peer review and ensuring the quality of psychology services.
- Facilitating referrals to specialty programs and community resources.
- Promoting patient independence through education and referrals.
- Training interns, practicum students, and trainees from various disciplines.
- Consulting with medical center staff to enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA or PCSAS-accredited program.
- Completion of an APA or PCSAS-accredited predoctoral internship.
- Unrestricted license in any state, allows practice across VHA.
