Position Overview:
We are seeking a psychologist with a genuine passion for Veteran care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a range of psychotherapeutic interventions and psychological assessment services.
Responsibilities include:
Providing individual, group, and family therapy, along with psychoeducational classes.
Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
Participating in peer review and ensuring the quality of psychology services.
Facilitating referrals to specialty programs and community resources.
Promoting patient independence through education and referrals.
Training interns, practicum students, and trainees from various disciplines.
Consulting with medical center staff to enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA or PCSAS-accredited program.
Completion of an APA or PCSAS-accredited predoctoral internship.
Unrestricted license in any state, allows practice across VHA.
