Pediatric Psychiatry

We are seeking a compassionate, board-certified/board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care in a supportive, family-centered environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside experienced clinicians committed to evidence-based, trauma-informed care. The selected candidate will be joining a team of two child and adolescent psychiatrists, a psychiatric and pediatric nurse practitioner, and a group of experienced psychologists. The psychiatry department is in an exciting state of growth with opportunity and support for pursuing one’s clinical interests. There is potential for involvement in a variety of roles including hospital consultation liaison, outpatient clinic, and collaboration with pediatric primary care.  

This position includes a highly competitive salary and robust benefit package, along with productivity and quality-based incentives.   The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills and must be able to obtain an unrestricted Tennessee Medical License. This position has a potential opportunity for a faculty appointment with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine – Knoxville, rank commensurate with experience.  Dolly Parton Children's Hospital will launch a pediatric residency program in 2027!  This is an amazing opportunity to be part of building an educational program for the next generation of pediatricians.
